A magical underwater adventure like no other! Sailfish are magnificent creatures, graceful and powerful at the same time. Measuring up to 10 feet long and weighing up to 200 lbs, sailfish are prize game fish, known for their jumping and their speed. Between the months of December and March, sailfish inhabit the waters of Cozumel, feeding on clustering schools of sardines.

From the boat, we will spot clusters of fish and other sea creatures near the surface, feeding on the sardines, who were driven to the surface by groups of sailfish feeding on these delicious treats. There may sometimes be dozens of these beautiful fish in the water at the same time, a truly stunning sight. You will watch them hunt the sardines, changing color and raising their fins as they slash the water with their bills, rounding up the sardines and then swallowing them. You won't want to miss this amazing opportunity to snorkel with one of nature's most incredible fish during your stay in Cozumel. Just a short ferry ride away!

When: Tuesday and Thursday at 7:00 AM. This tour is seasonal and runs from January through March only. The rest of the year, see our Whale Shark Adventure.
Where: Tour Offices in Downtown Playa del Carmen. Detailed directions will accompany your confirmation. You will need to take the ferry to Playa del Carmen on your own to meet this tour.

will need to take the ferry over on your
own to meet this tour. Check with your ship to see which pier you are arriving at. Taxis are lined up waiting for you as you get off the ship. Very easy. Should cost only about $8.00 USD from Intl and Puerta Maya piers. |
