See two of the Riviera Maya's major attractions in one great tour from Cozumel! Start out with a tour of the Tulum Mayan Ruins, the famous walled city of the Mayas. You'll have your socks knocked off by the dazzling beauty of the Caribbean Sea, just below the ruins site. You can hire a guide to give you an expert guided tour of the ruins, or you can explore on your own if you like.
The next stop is Aktun Chen, a true adventure to the hidden Mayan world. This subterranean cavern, also called a cenote, features amazing displays of stalactites and stalagmites, throughout its 600m length. At Aktun Chen, a tour guide will take you through the cave, and explain to you the geology, and fascinating history of the area. All around the cave exists a jungle wilderness, where you can see spider monkeys, wild boars, whitetail deer, and a wide variety of local tropical birds.

Tulum Ruins Entrance Fee: 95 Pesos Per Person (Approx. $6.00 USD Per Person)
Tulum Park Protected Area Fee: 61 Pesos Per Person (Approx. $4.00 USD Per Person)
Tulum Hours: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (Latest Entry 3:30 PM)
Notes:
A private guide can be hired at
the Tulum entrance gate for 600 Pesos approx. $35.00 USD for up to 5 people, larger groups add approximately $2.00 USD per person.
Your driver will show you where to go.
This fee is for your whole group to have your
own private guide for 30-40 minutes. You also
have the option of just exploring on your own
without a guide.
If you plan on using a professional camera or make video recordings with electronic devices of any type inside Tulum, you will have to pay 50 Pesos at the entrance (Approx. $3.50 USD).
There is a small restaurant on
site at Aktun Chen.
