This Express Chichen Itza tour
takes you to the ancient ruins and back in time
for dinner, it is the shortest public tour to
the archaeological site, it lasts only 9 hours!
Chichen Itza, one of the new 7 wonders of the world, is about a 2.5 hour drive from Playa del
Carmen, most tours will take about 12 hours
to complete. We have trimmed all of the
time consuming extras and go directly to the
ruins, so you can enjoy the cultural visit to
the site. You get a 60 minute guided tour
and an extra 60 minutes to explore the site on
your own. This tour is simple - go to
Chichen Itza, see Chichen Itza, and return.
Once you get on-board our bus
to Chichen Itza,
you'll be served a box breakfast to take the edge
off. Once at Chichen Itza, your expert
archaeological tour guide will give you a fascinating
overview of the ruins site and
history of the Mayas. Then enjoy some free
time to do your own exploration, take photos, grab a bite to eat or drink at one of the
local stands or just rest under sun. Then
get ready to ride
back to Playa del Carmen where you´ll be
arriving on time to catch your ferry back to
Cozumel in time, so you should be getting to
your hotel by
about 5:00 PM.

OUR ADVICE:
A bit more money but just an overall feeling of a higher standard than Classic. The luxury bus is very nice, restroom on board, continental breakfast on the way there and drinks on the way back, a very comfortable way to get to Chichen Itza. It's a long drive, so some reading material or entertainment is a good idea.

Kids: All ages welcome. Prices apply to ages 5-11. Kids ages 3-4 must pay the Chichen Itza Entrance Fee of 481 Mexican Pesos (Approx. $25.00 USD) in cash on the day of the tour. The entrance fee is already included in the ticket for ages 5-11.
